The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation Supports the 2018 Wyndham Championship and Sponsors the Wednesday Pro-Am

GREENSBORO, NC – For the 11th consecutive year, the family has supported the Wyndham Championship and proudly sponsored the Wednesday Pro-Am, titled THE LOUIS DEJOY & ALDONA Z. WOS FAMILY FOUNDATION WEDNESDAY PRO-AM. Louis DeJoy began sponsoring the Wednesday Pro-Am when he was Chairman and CEO of New Breed Logistics, and in 2015 continued the sponsorship through the family foundation.

The Foundation is committed to the Wyndham Championship because it embodies collaboration and success in our community, and is aligned with the initiatives of the DeJoy/Wos Family Foundation – providing significant charitable impact for the greater good of the Piedmont Triad community, and inspiring the next generation through education and supporting community development.

Eastern Music Festival (EMF) thanks the DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation and other foundations, businesses, corporations and individuals for their 2018 sponsorship generosity. Each year EMF partners with sponsors to raise over $1 million of their $2.29 million annual budget to present the Festival.

The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation Makes 5-Year Pledge to Support Duke University School of Law in Honor of Dean David F. Levi

Louis DeJoy and Dr. Aldona Wos continue their support of Duke University with a 5-year pledge to the School of Law, to be directed to the David F. Levi Law and Judicial Studies Endowment Fund. The fund establishes a distinguished professorship in law and judicial studies and the directorship of the Bolch Judicial Institute in honor of Levi, the James B. Duke and Benjamin N. Duke Dean of the School of Law for the past 11 years.

Earlier this year the DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation granted Eastern Music Festival $20,000 in scholarship funding for North Carolina musicians.

This gift is presented in recognition of Eastern Music Festival’s long-standing commitment to educational and performing excellence. This gift promotes EMF’s commitment to educating young musicians in North Carolina.

The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation Makes a 5-Year Pledge to Support the TFAS Leadership Scholars Program

The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation has pledged a five year annual gift to support the TFAS 50th Anniversary Liberty + Leadership Campaign which provides scholarships for students attending TFAS programs in Washington, D.C. The annual support will be prioritized for students from North Carolina with financial need, as well as a full scholarship to a student from Estonia.

Scholarship Funding Designated to Assist up to Twelve North Carolina Students in 2018

GREENSBORO – Eastern Music Festival is honored to announce receipt of $20,000 in scholarship funding from the DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation. This generous donation will provide scholarship assistance for up to TWELVE North Carolina musicians between the ages of 14 and 23 studying at Eastern Music Festival this summer.
