Louis DeJoy is an accomplished American entrepreneur, business executive, real estate investor, community leader and philanthropist with more than 40 years’ experience with both private and public companies.

Louis is currently President of LDJ Global Strategies, a strategic real estate investment and consulting company based in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Most recently, Louis was the 75th Postmaster General of the United States and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Postal Service. He was appointed by the organization’s Board of Governors and began his tenure in June 2020. In his role as Postmaster General, DeJoy also served as a member of the Board of Governors.  DeJoy led one of the largest organizational transformations in the United States.  Based on his pragmatic, 10-year Delivering for America plan, nearly every operation and function of the Postal Service was being improved, ensuring that it can continue to fulfill its public service mission with financial strength well into the future.

In his almost five-year tenure, DeJoy has led the Postal Service through the COVID-19 Pandemic to recover from unprecedented financial, structural, operational and cultural challenges. He drove significant progress to put the Postal Service on a positive trajectory to retain its stature as a cherished American institution and become a more efficient, high-performing logistics and delivery enterprise.

Before joining the Postal Service, DeJoy spent more than 35 years building and leading a nationwide logistics company. As chairman and chief executive officer of New Breed Logistics, DeJoy spent decades in collaboration with federal agencies and major corporations, to provide supply chain logistics, program management and transportation support.

In 2014, New Breed was acquired by XPO Logistics, with DeJoy serving as chief executive officer of XPO Logistics’ Supply Chain business in the Americas before his retirement in December 2015. He then joined the company’s board of directors, where he served until 2018.

DeJoy is a member of the board of trustees for the PGA Wyndham Championship, the Piedmont Triad Partnership and Elon University in North Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University in Florida.

Ambassador Aldona Z. Woś was born in Warsaw, Poland. Her father survived Flossenburg Concentration Camp, and her mother survived Nazi Germany’s child slave labor. Her father, Paul Zenon Woś, was a member of the Polish Home Army and recipient of many distinguished awards, including the “Righteous Among the Nations” medal from Yad Vashem.

In 2002 and 2004, President George W. Bush appointed Ambassador Woś to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council. In 2004, she was appointed as the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Estonia. During her tour, she focused on winning the hearts and minds of the next generation of Estonian leaders, Russian integration, HIV and AIDS prevention, and the preservation of Estonian culture. For her service, Ambassador Woś was awarded the Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana 1st Class by the President of the Republic of Estonia, the Distinguished Service Cross of the Estonian Defense Forces, and the Cross of Merit of the Estonian National Police Board. In 2007, she received the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. In 2008, she was presented the Ellis Island Medal of Honor. She was invested in the Sovereign Order of Malta in 2010.

In 2012, Ambassador Woś served on The University of North Carolina’s Board of Governors. From 2013 to 2015, she served as North Carolina’s Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services overseeing more than 18,000 employees across North Carolina and a nearly $20 billion budget. In 2017, President Donald Trump appointed Ambassador Woś as the Vice Chair of the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships. In 2018, she was appointed to the Duke Law Board of Visitors. In 2020, President Donald Trump nominated Ambassador Woś to be the U.S. Ambassador to Canada.

Ambassador Woś is President Emeritus of The Institute of World Politics, where she served as President from August 2022 to February 2026 and is a member of the Board of Trustees. She also serves on the boards of The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, the Council of American Ambassadors, and the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Ambassador Woś earned her M.D. at the Warsaw Medical Academy and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine, including a fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine, in New York City. Her career as a doctor included private practice, corporate medicine, clinical care, teaching, and consulting for both hospitals and private industry. She holds an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from The Institute of World Politics and an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Greensboro College.

Heather Clarke serves as Executive Director of the DeJoy-Wos Family Foundation, providing strategic leadership for the Foundation’s philanthropic priorities, programs, partnerships, and operations. She works with the DeJoy family to develop and advance initiatives that expand educational opportunity, strengthen communities, and reflect the family’s longstanding commitment to philanthropy.

Heather has worked alongside Louis DeJoy for more than three decades. From 1994 through 2014, she served as his Chief of Staff at New Breed Logistics, and following the company’s acquisition, continued as his Chief of Staff at XPO Logistics, North America through 2015. From 2020 to 2025, she served as Chief of Staff to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy at the United States Postal Service, working with senior leadership on major organizational priorities and strategic initiatives.

Heather was instrumental in launching the DeJoy-Wos Scholars Program and remains an important part of its continued success. She works closely with scholars, educational institutions, and community partners to help create meaningful educational, professional, and life-enrichment opportunities for participating students.

Her longstanding relationship with the DeJoy family, together with her extensive leadership experience, provides Heather with a unique understanding of the family’s philanthropic objectives and a deep institutional knowledge of the Foundation. She brings continuity, judgment, and a long-term perspective to advancing its mission.

Jay Triplett serves as Assistant Director of the DeJoy-Wos Family Foundation, overseeing the financial, administrative, and operational functions that support the Foundation’s philanthropic activities. He works closely with Foundation leadership to ensure that resources are responsibly managed and that programs and other commitments are administered effectively.

Jay has worked with Louis DeJoy and the DeJoy family for more than two decades across a broad range of family, business and philanthropic matters. That longstanding relationship has given him extensive knowledge of the Foundation’s financial and operational responsibilities and a strong understanding of the careful stewardship, sound judgment, and discretion required in managing its resources.

Jay holds a degree in Economics from Wake Forest University.
