Purpose

The purpose of the DeJoy-Wos Family Foundation Scholarship Program is to help deserving and high-performing Greensboro area high school students develop academic and professional skills that will help them in pursuing their career goals.

Goal

The goal of the DeJoy-Wos Family Foundation Scholarship Program is to align with Elon University’s Odyssey Program to develop students from Guilford County Title I Public schools to achieve a 100% college graduation rate with a degree in business or engineering in four years and grow the selected participants into consequential leaders in our nation.

TESTIMONIALS

“Through the program, I was able to attend multiple conferences and camps at no cost, experiences that would have otherwise been inaccessible. DWFFS Program is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that should not be taken lightly or dismissed. It is life-changing and path-laying.”Braxton Mayhew, Elon Class of 2026

“As a first-generation student who did not come from much, this program gave me hope. From college preparation to professional development, it helped shape me into the purposeful, driven young adult I am today and showed me that no matter where I came from, I am capable of achieving, growing, and striving for more.” Makila Boyce, Elon Class of 2028

“Outside of phenomenal educational support and ACT preparation, I felt emotional and mental support throughout my time having other figures who care about my well-being. This program has also allowed me to learn about myself and recognize my strengths, while progressively working on areas that I needed to.” – Jordan Mayo, Elon Class of 2029
