The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation has been a proud supporter of Junior Achievement of the Triad since 2018.
Junior Achievement of the Triad provides students with experiences that promote the skills, understanding, and perspectives needed to succeed in a global economy and to become productive contributing members of society – a mission shared by the DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation.
Junior Achievement facilitates partnerships between schools, investors and volunteers to inspire and prepare K-12 students for economic success by providing programs in the core content areas of financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
Junior Achievement of the Triad reaches more than 18,000 students per year and partners with businesses, educators, and policymakers around the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina seeking to expand workforce development and economic development.
The DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation was again the presenting sponsor for the 46th Annual Business Leaders Hall of Fame, held on March 19, 2026. This year’s distinguished inductees included Dr. Connie Book, Mae Douglas, and Todd Hall, each recognized for their exceptional leadership and lasting contributions to the business community.
The 2025 Hall of Fame class honored Shirley T. Frye, Edmund R. Gant, Jr., and Dr. Janet Spriggs, while the 2024 inductees included Davida Martin, Adrian Smith, and Shawn Willis.
On January 23, 2018, Louis DeJoy was inducted into Junior Achievement of the Triad’s Business Leaders Hall of Fame (see News Release and Video). Hall of Fame inductees are visionary businessmen and women who are recognized and honored for shaping the Piedmont Triad North Carolina economic landscape.
