Our Lady of Mercy Academy is located in Nassau County, New York, and is a leading Catholic all-girls secondary education option in the county. For over 93 years, OLMA has had a proud history of superior education for aspiring young Catholic women. Dr. Aldona Woś graduated from Our Lady of Mercy Academy in 1973.
In 2021, the DEJOY\WOS Family Foundation contributed $300,000 to Our Lady of Mercy Academy to create the Dr. Aldona Woś ’73 Scholarship as part of their Towering to New Heights – Fortifying our Legacy capital campaign. The scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis.
